K&G Manufacturing was founded in 1937 as an automotive parts manufacturer. In 1966, Tom Gerbig took over the business and purchased its first NC machine tool in 1967. The company began specializing in manufacturing precision-machined parts and assemblies. Gerbig’s belief that quality is the key to building a successful business, insisted that all products shipped met 100% customer’s requirements earning K&G the reputation for excellent quality. Gerbig also recognized early on that deploying state of the art CAD CAM technology positioned K&G as a valued competitive supplier.
In 1982, K&G erected a new 41,000 square foot, climate controlled, concrete and steel structure to manufacture aircraft assemblies, hydraulic components, and components for disk drives, printers, and other peripherals.
Today, K&G is a privately held, non-union, corporation, strongly committed to the community of Faribault, Minnesota, just 50 miles south of Minneapolis/St Paul. Our leadership team has extensive manufacturing experience and global expertise. Their plans included aggressive growth and their know how has allowed K&G to become a world-class leader in the premier contract precision machining market.

We have a selection of high-speed CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual machines and secondary operational equipment to handle your most demanding requirements.
